FIELD: obstetrics, gynecology, perinatology, neonatology. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with studying cellular composition of amniotic liquid to detect absolute content of macrophages (M), lymphocytes (L), neutrophilic segmented leucocytes (N) and fetal epithelial skin cells (E) in 10 vision fields, calculate the value for development of generalized form of intrauterine infection in fetus by the following equation: -1.007xM-0.723xN- 0.826xL+0.00xE and in case the value obtained is below the threshold value being equal to -12.51 one should predict generalized form of intrauterine fetal infection. The method enables to start treatment in antenatal period and decrease sickness rate and lethality of newborns in neonatal and perinatal periods. EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics.
