FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to obstetrics and neonatology. In order to diagnose intrauterine chlamydiosis infection in newborns morphological analysis of placenta tissues, obtained after delivery, is carried out. Semi-thin cuts of placenta are analysed, non-specific changes, characteristic of infectious placentitis, are detected in them. After that on slides with material applied are antibodies, peroxides is revealed by means of diaminobenzidine, put under cover glass, analysed in light microscope. If complexes peroxides-Chlamydia is present, Chlamydia infection in newborn is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows carrying out early diagnostics of intrauterine chlamydiosis infection in newborns.
