FIELD: oil geology. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for optimal arrangement of new wells on explored object by complex of data of ground seismic prospecting, geophysical examination of wells, seismic logging, analysis of core and tests of wells. In correspondence with invention wells with core sampling are drilled, resistivity, radiation, acoustic, seismic logging are conducted, wells are tested, seismic operations are performed and conclusion on oil-and-gas productive or other types of geological section of explored object is made. Location of exposed types of section is determined on maps by isolines of equal values of spectral-time parameters presenting product of spectral densities of energy frequency and time spectra specific by frequency and time into maximum frequency and time or into weighted means of frequency and time and also as ratio of energy of high frequencies and great times to energy of low frequencies and little time of seismic recording. Wells are positioned on principle of maximally effective productive volumes on isolines of spectral-time parameters corresponding to oil-and-gas productive types of geological section in confidence interval equal to ±0,5 section of map. EFFECT: increased efficiency of geological prospecting operations.
