FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring arterial blood pressure on both upper and both lower extremities three times. The first measurement is taken in lying dorsal position with head end lifted to 30 deg (position A). The second measurement is taken 5 min later after passively lifting legs to 20 deg relative to horizontal level (position B). The third measurement is taken after placing the legs in their original position (position C). Dynamic mean of arterial blood pressure is calculated. The values being greater than 79.5 and less than 115.5 on all extremities in all positions A,B,C, vegetative blood circulation regulation is evaluated as compensated. Mean arterial blood pressure values being greater than 79.5 and less than 115.5 in only one extremity at least in one position of A,B,C, vegetative blood circulation regulation is evaluated as subcompensated of I degree. Mean arterial blood pressure values being greater than 79.5 and less than 115.5 in not more than two extremities in at least one position of A,B, C, vegetative blood circulation regulation is evaluated as subcompensated of II degree. Mean arterial blood pressure values being greater than 79.5 and less than 115.5 in not more than three extremities in at least one position of A, B, C, vegetative blood circulation regulation is evaluated as subcompensated of III degree. Mean arterial blood pressure values being greater than 79.5 and less than 115.5 in all four extremities in at least one position of A,B,C, vegetative blood circulation regulation is evaluated as decompensated.
