FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, anesthesiology and resuscitation. In the patient the day after surgery measure blood pressure at four extremities in the supine position with head end raised on 30°, determine the number of extremities of the patient, on which BPav. is beyond a range of values of 79.5÷115,5 mm Hg.St. If on two or more extremities the BPav is outside the above range, predict the development of infectious complications in 3–16 days after surgery.
EFFECT: method allows to predict infectious complications and to reduce the time and complexity of the study.
