FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding material and suspension through discharge spout into bath; discharging heavy fraction by elevator wheel dipped into bath containing suspension and discharging light fraction by discharge mechanism, with material being charged into the volume of suspension in bath by means of charging device made in the form of partition, which is adjustable in vertical plane. Partition is positioned at the level below suspension level and is adapted for directing material to be concentrated into bath in suspension motion direction. EFFECT: increased efficiency in separating material to be concentrated. 2 dwg
