FIELD: submerged transport facilities; antennae and masts having flexible members (cable loops). SUBSTANCE: proposed extensible unit includes extensible step made in form of telescopic set of movable running and intermediate sections, guide for motion of extensible step, flexible member made in form of cable loop with section of bend if form of half-loops with two branches; one branch is rigidly secured on fixed member (body of unit); extensible unit is also provided with tensioner for tension of cable loop which includes planetary mechanism with slider and drive. Articulated with said slider is at least one cylindrical member (block or drum) on whose surface cable branch is laid. Drive of slider has flexible link whose one branch is secured on body of unit and other branch is secured on extensible step. EFFECT: improved service characteristics due to transformation of flexible member. 5 cl, 5 dwg
