INSTALLATION FOR VENTILATION AND DISCHARGE OF GRAIN IN HORIZONTAL FLOOR GRAIN STORAGE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumatic transport and it can be used for ventilation and discharge of grain in grain storages with horizontal floor. Proposed installation contains fan, main delivery channel and air distributing channels with slots in side walls. According to invention, installation is provided with central duct in lower part of which discharge holes are made to let out grain and discharge mechanical conveyor, for instance, of scraper type, is installed, and main delivery channel is located in upper part being isolated from conveyor. Air distributing channels are connected with main delivery channel, each, by means of flexible hose. Each air distributing channel is installed for turning in horizontal plane relative to ball support. Installation is furnished with slave mechanisms for turning said channels, on which sensors are installed which reveal contact of lower parts of side surfaces of said channels with grain in bulk. Slave turning mechanism of each of three turning channels is installed on top of end part of middle turning channel and it includes electric winch with friction drum and wire rope whose free ends are connected with channels adjacent to said channel, and is covered from top by inclined surface.
