FIELD: mining industry; applicable in opencast mining of minerals, particularly, of coal. SUBSTANCE: method includes formation in filled flanks of opencast of working platform on bench having mineral outcrop to its slope; extraction of flank mineral from formed working platform with preservation of stability of flank to be filled. Formation of working platform is carried out before liquidation of bench having mineral outcrop to its slope. Extraction of mineral is performed by formation of deep extraction rooms with help of complex of bed deep mining with ladder-type conveyor. Liquidation of bench having mineral outcrop to its slope is carried out with lagging with respect to mineral extraction, at least, by five extraction rooms. Stability of filled flank of opencast may be preserved by leaving interroom pillars or by filling of worked out space of extraction rooms with overburden rocks extracted in liquidation of working platform. EFFECT: increased amount of extracted mineral without increase of volume of stripping operations, reduced volume of blasting and drilling operations, in cycle of mineral extraction. 3 cl
