ROTARY VANE MACHINE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2205981 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to positive displacement hydraulic machines with adjustable volume of working chambers. Proposed rotary vane machine has housing accommodating shaft fitted in inner bore of housing, rotor with shaft and provided with slots in which radially movable vanes are installed, disk with central hole to pass rotor, and slots with seals to pass said vanes, side wall adjoining rotor end face at one side, channels to let working medium in and out of working chamber limited by housing, rotor, disk and side wall. Inner of housing is made with equal profile of cross section at both sides of disk. Each radially movable vane can come in contact with inner surface of housing simultaneously at both sides of said disk. Constant length of contact of vane ends with inner surface of housing is preserved both at displacement of housing and at displacement of rotor in axial direction. EFFECT: prevention of nonuniform wear of plate ends, enlarged operating capabilities of rotary vane machines of such type. 5 cl, 3 dwg
