FIELD: heating of and hot-water supply to apartment houses, cottages, and miscellaneous structures. SUBSTANCE: heat-pump plant has compressor, first storage tank, double-section condenser, evaporator, first circulating pump, and peak demand heater. Plant is provided with earth pipeline, air heat exchanger, adaptive temperature selection unit, evaporator-condenser set, second circulating pump, second storage tank, and two temperature relay sensors; air heat exchanger and earth pipeline communicate through adaptive temperature selection unit and first circulating pump by means of respective pipelines with evaporator- condenser set which communicates through pipelines of condenser first stage and second circulating pump by means of respective pipelines with first storage tank whose upper part mounts second storage tank communicating by means of pipelines with cold-water and hot-water pipelines; intermediate part of first storage tank accommodates two temperature relay sensors of which first one is electrically connected to compressor and second sensor, to peak demand heater disposed in bottom part of first storage tank that communicates with cold-water pipeline and with pipeline running to heating equipment. Low-potential source used for heat-pump plant is air or earth depending on ambient temperature. EFFECT: enhanced operating efficiency of plant throughout entire year. 3 cl, 2 dwg
