FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: small arms with optical sight comprises a receiver with a barrel, on which using the connection "dovetail" the bracket is fixed for mounting an optical sight, consisting of a base and the cantilever arm in the form of a Picatinny rail, on the front part of the receiver a ledge two openings is made, aligned along the bore, and on the cantilever arm of the bracket at the bottom a joggle is made, on which two pins are located, interacting with the openings at the mounting bracket to the arm. The ledge with the openings can be made on the stud available on the receiver for the passage of the gas tube, and at the top it has a recess for providing the ability of aiming. The base of the bracket has a box shape, in the bottom of the base the windows are made, between which the base lock is located, and on the rear side wall of the base there is a ledge which abuts the rear end of the joggle located on the receiver.

EFFECT: design enables to remove and install quickly the necessary equipment, enables to fix securely the front cantilever arm and the base of the bracket, is a light and rigid structure and thus eliminates the movement and elastic deformation of the bracket.
