THREE-PHASE AC-TO-DC VOLTAGE CHANGER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2206172 C2

FIELD: converter engineering; dc load power supply. SUBSTANCE: voltage changer incorporating provision for reactive power correction in dc voltage production has three-phase transformer with secondary winding and bridge rectifier circuit with cathode and anode groups of diodes. Starting leads of transformer secondary winding are connected to ac input of rectifier bridge circuit and its other terminals, to input of capacitor bridge circuit assembled of two groups of capacitors. Each capacitor group has common point of connection. Common points of mentioned capacitor groups are connected to those of cathode and anode groups of diodes of three-phase bridge circuit. Load is connected to input of bridge rectifier circuit. EFFECT: ability of using same capacitors for reducing voltage ripples across load. 2 cl, 1 dwg
