SUBSTANCE: converter has two power transformers whose primary windings are star- and delta-connected, respectively, and secondary windings are delta-connected; it also has parallel-connected diode bridges. Each delta-connected phase secondary winding of any of these transformers has only taps (that is it has no leads from terminals a, b, c) which divide it into three parts so that turn ratio of these parts is For instance, phase winding ax has only taps a1 and a2, turns of parts aa1, a1a2 and a2x meeting given equation.
