FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out vitrectomy, filling vitreous body cavity with perfluororganic substance. Artificial intraocular lens is implanted. It is rotated in a way that the haptic element matches iris defect area. Pupil iris edge is caught with forceps in 12 o'clock position via sclera incision. The pupil iris edge is sutured at 12 o'clock position, artificial intraocular lens arc and opposite pupil iris edge via cornea paracentesis. Thread ends are pulled out via cornea paracentesis. Pupil is shaped by pulling the thread around the optical part of the artificial intraocular lens. The artificial intraocular lens is centered. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in fixing artificial intraocular lens and making plastic repair of the iris in complex injury cases. 2 cl
