FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing microhook into lens capsule. Intraocular lens optical part edge displaced inside of the capsule and free of haptic members is caught with the microhook and moved outside of circular capsulorexis boundary over the anterior capsule. The haptic members are left in the capsule sack.
EFFECT: provided stable central intraocular lens position; avoided tamponade substances overflow into the anterior chamber; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
