FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to lance anterior chamber, towards the bottom of incision it is necessary to apply and fix a cannula with vacuum to fulfill a circular capsulotomy till the appearance of the next portion of turbid lenticular masses. The cannula should be disconnected against anterior capsule to remove lenticular masses withdrawn into anterior chamber. Then, the cannula should be again fixed with vacuum towards anterior capsule; one should repeat these manipulations till the development of anterior capsulorhexis. The method is considered to be smooth and efficient due to the fact that the whole procedure has been fulfilled with one instrument, by not leaving the anterior chamber; moreover, it is important to provide constant visualization of anterior capsule, and visityl should be introduced once at the beginning of the operation and during suction procedure of lenticular masses remained in anterior chamber.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
