FIELD: oil- refining and petrochemical industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes plate and filters mounted under this plate; it also includes porcelain ball located under catalyst. Inserted in holes in horizontal area of plate are overflow branch pipes with taper attachments, overflow units and protective baffles. Upper sections of overflow branch pipes are made in form of bell-mouths with corrugated surfaces; corrugations narrow towards holes in plate. Taper attachments are made in form of two branch pipes having form of truncated cones interconnected by larger bases. Lesser base of upper branch pipe is secured to protective baffle. Overflow units are made in form of system of holes over perimeter of overflow branch pipes in zone of maximum narrowing of circular clearance formed between outer surface of upper branch pipe of taper attachment and corrugated surface of branch pipe. Such construction ensure high degree of dispersivity of liquid phase and smooth distribution of gas-and-liquid mixture in reaction volume. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 6 dwg
