FIELD: petrochemical process catalysts. SUBSTANCE: invention provides alumina-supported catalyst including tungsten and platinum in the form of their heterocomplex with 0.2-1.0% platinum, 0.05-6.00% tungsten, and 0.70-2.00% chlorine or catalyst, which may contain promoters: rhenium, molybdenum, manganese, iridium, tin, or their mixture up to 0.05- 5.00%. preparation of catalyst: tungsten trioxide is dissolved in hydrogen peroxide during 1 to 3 h at 500-100 C, resulting solution is cooled and supplemented by with platinum compound and 1 h later with acetic acid. Mixture is deposited on activated alumina. Invention is distinguished by that, to impregnating solution, promoters are added, after which solutions are poured out and held in hydrogen peroxide at 50-100 C or combining these operations for 1 to 3 h followed by cooling, addition of precipitate compound, and standing for 0.5 to 1 h. Reforming in presence of such catalyst give gasoline with octane number up to 96.0 (research method) and yield of catalyzate up to 89.2%. EFFECT: improved antiknock property of gasoline and increased yield. 4 cl, 1 tbl, 9 ex
