FIELD: molding technology; application of elastic or polymer coats on internal surfaces of metal articles. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes system for supply of material of coat with loading chamber and passages and air evacuation system with evacuation passages. Material supply system is made in form of insert with detachable cylinder mounted on it; said cylinder is locked by means of nut forming loading chamber which is communicated with cavity to be filled by means of material supply passage in which locking screw is fitted. Insert is connected with tube forming internal surface. Air evacuation system is provided with plug inserted in tube at its opposite end. Plug has bush with pipe union connected with air evacuation pipe line connecting in its turn cavity to be filled with compressor. Air evacuation system of device is provided with visual observation section, for example transparent tube. Air evacuation system is provided with shut-off valve. Mounted on tube inside article is anti-adhesion insert. Device is provided with union nut for connecting material supply system with article; nut is simultaneously used as puller. Insert and plug have drain passages for cleaning device from residual elastic material. Method of application of coat includes vacuum molding by pressing-in the material and evacuating the chamber. Chamber is filled after evacuation of air and sealing-up is performed. Device together with article is subjected to heating in furnace with loading chamber dismantled and material supply passages shut-off. EFFECT: improved quality of coat. 8 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
