FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: rolled shapes have main layer of steel containing group of alloying elements such as silicon and aluminum, surface layer of stainless steel containing group of alloying elements, such as chromium and nickel and diffusion layer between them. Rolled shapes are produced from bimetallic ingot by hot rolling for intermediate blank and shapes at subsequent heat treatment. Steel of main layer contains, mass-%: silicon, 1.0-5.8 and aluminum 0.1-5.0, provided 3,0≤(Si+Al)≤6,0. Steel of main layer may additionally contain one or several elements selected from group including, mass-%: nickel, up to 3.0; chromium, up to 3.0; manganese, up to 3.0; molybdenum, up to 1.0; tungsten, up to 0.5; vanadium, up to 0.7; copper, up to 0.5; titanium, up to 0.3; niobium, up to 0.5; zirconium, up to 0.5; yttrium, up to 0.2; rare-earth metals, up to 0.2; nitrogen, up to 0.5; carbon, up to 0.8 and the remainder being iron and admixtures. Steel of surface layer may additionally contain one or several elements selected from group including, mass-%: nickel, up to 34; chromium, up to 25; silicon, up to 6.5; aluminum, up to 4.0; manganese, up to 6.0; molybdenum, up to 6.1; tungsten, up to 4.0; vanadium, up to 0.5; copper, up to 5.0; titanium, up to 1.2; niobium, up to 1.0; zirconium, up to 1.0; yttrium, up to 0.5; rare-earth metals, up to 0.5; nitrogen up to 0.8; carbon, up to 0.5 and the remainder being iron and admixtures.
