FIELD: oil producing industry; applicable in shutoff of water and gas inflows to wells of oil-gas-saturated reservoirs, mainly carbonate reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection into formation of insulating compound through hydrodynamic vibration generator installed in tubing string in interval of compound injection into formation. Method provides for injection through hydrodynamic vibration generator of fringe of mixture of water with stock-tank oil and fringe of water or aqueous solution of sedimentation reagents before injection into formation of insulating compound and process holding. Insulating compound is used in form of high-molecular weight of 16000-60000 or polyisobutylene with molecular weight of 20000-80000, hydrocarbon solvent and high-viscosity oil with the following amounts of components, wt/%: said high-molecular hydrocarbon-soluble polymer 0.25-0.35; hydrocarbon solvent 8.0-10.0; the balance, high-viscosity oil. Hydrocarbon solvent may be used in form of heptane, n-hexane, diesel fuel, kerosene, gasoline, gas condensate. After injection of insulating compound through hydrodynamic vibration generator, subject to injection is fringe of water, oil, nonionic and/or anionic surfactant with the following amounts of components, wt. %: nonionic and/or anionic surfactant 0.08-0.2; stock-tank oil 50.0-54.0; the balance, water. Process holding may be maintained for at least 40h. Sedimentation reagents may be used in form of solutions of soda ash and water glass in fresh water and calcium chloride service water with density of 1160-1200 kg/cu/m. Water with stock-tank oil, solutions of sedimentation reagents and oil with aqueous solution of nonionic and/or anionic surfactant may be injected into tubing string simultaneously or separately.
