FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in pistons provided with piston pin. In proposed piston space in each piston boss over surface of hole for piston pin is formed by group of holes located across and along axis of piston pin. Said holes are interconnected and they come to outer surface of piston below upper plane of groove for oil control ring being connected with oil scraper chamfer on lower surface found on lower plane of groove for oil control ring. Part of said holes get to inner surface of piston. EFFECT: reduced temperature, increased serviceability of piston. 2 dwg
