FIELD: machine engineering, namely pipeline fittings, controlling flows of working fluid in different branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: ball cock includes housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes. In housing are arranged: spindle, seat with sealings, stationary and movable stops, rotary shut-off organ having flow-through duct, upper and lower spherical supports, groove. Upper support is mounted eccentrically relative to rotation axis. Groove is in the form of rectangular sector; both stationary and movable stops are placed in groove.
