FIELD: pipe equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe fittings. The ball valve contains a housing with inlet and outlet pipes, a ball plug in supports with a through hole, two seats with protective metal rings pressed by springs to the plug, and a spindle, part of which, hermetically installed in the housing, is made round. The part of the spindle and the hole in the ball plug in which this part of the spindle is installed are made of a square shape. The diameter of the round part of the spindle is smaller than the diameter of the circle inscribed in the square of the other part of the spindle. A square hole in the ball plug, placed along the axis of the support, connects the outer surface of the ball plug with the through hole. A washer is additionally inserted into the valve housing, mounted with a hole on the round part of the spindle and having an outer surface whose diameter is larger than the diagonal of the square part of the spindle. One plane of the washer interacts with the end plane of the square part of the spindle, not overlapped by the round part of the spindle, and the other plane of the washer interacts with the plane in the valve housing. Due to the round and square shapes of the spindle parts and the introduction of a square hole along the axis of the ball plug support, it is possible to mount the spindle from the inner cavity of the valve housing.
