FIELD: radar equipment. SUBSTANCE: method can find application in mining and rescue operations for remote detection of emergency victims, for search for lost in forest, for search for fishermen in distress, for search for tourists, geologists and for remote identification of victims of extreme or other circumstances. Proposed method is realized by transceiver and scanner which transmitter includes master generator, generator of modulating code, phase manipulator, power amplifier and transmitting antenna. Receiver of scanner incorporates five receiving antennas, five high-frequency amplifiers, heterodyne, mixer, intermediate frequency amplifier, two spectrum analyzers, phase doubler, comparator, key, phase scale- of-two circuit, narrow-band filter, phase detector, four multipliers, four narrow-band filters, four phase meters and recording unit. Principle of operation of transceiver is based on acoustic processing of wide-band phase-keyed signals with the aid of interdigital converter of surfaces acoustic waves. EFFECT: widened functional potential of method by finding direction to those in distress, obtainment of additional information on them. 7 dwg
