FIELD: electron-beam welding in vacuum; applicable in manufacture of any vital parts where accurate geometric sizes after welding is required. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of thickening of welded parts on welded joint on the side of electronic beam action. Value of thickening in upper part of joint amounts up to 1-1.2 thicknesses of rated seam section, and value of thickening in seam root is at least 0.5 thickness of rated seam section. Thickenings in upper part of joint and in seam root are removed by machining after welding to reduce angular deformation of welded part to permissible value. Joint is subjected to general heat treatment and final machining. EFFECT: higher quality of welded joints and reduced level of residual stresses and deformations. 1 dwg, 1 ex
