FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions concerns galvanic technique and can be applied in parts recovery. The method involves sedimentation of coating material on the part's surface, plastic deformation of the coating by rotating and reciprocating movement of a tool along the part, so that for each full turn the tool is additionally shifted along the processed surface at constant amplitude by longitudinal movement to a position different from the starting point, while the tool pressure is reduced in proportion to slowing of its motion along the part. The device includes a vessel, anode and plastic deformation tool fixed in holders, each holder connected kinematically through a rod against a rock arm tilted against the processed surface and a bracket fixed to axis to a pusher contacting with a master cam fixed at the axis of a pinion put loosely on a shaft and connected to rotary drive.
EFFECT: increased durability of an item due to achieving required surface quality.
