FIELD: plating processes and equipment, possibly restoration of mounting openings for inserts of crankshafts of large-size cylinder units.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes reservoir for electrolyte, anode and tool for plastic deforming of part. Reservoir for electrolyte includes two coaxial body flanges made with possibility of fluid-tightly embracing cavity of restored part and mutually joined by means of bracing members. Tool for plastic deforming of part is joined with shaft mounted in one of said flanges coaxially relative to axis of restored part. Anode whose axis is eccentric relative to shaft axis is mounted in opposite flange with possibility for rotation.
EFFECT: lowered cost price of part restoration, increased engine resource due to desired quality of coating.
