FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bearing devices of rotary machines and can be used in various plants with fast rotating rotor, such as turbine units, centrifugal compressors and turbo-expander, electric motors and electric generators. Radial electromagnetic support of active magnetic bearing comprises stator and rotor of support. Stator of electromagnet made in three-layer in axial direction is installed in stator support housing. Electromagnet stator comprises two sections of the magnetic conductor, made in the form of packages from electrical steel with internal teeth separated by a layer of non-ferromagnetic material with identical profile of internal teeth. Windings of electromagnet cover three-layer stator teeth. Electromagnet rotor installed on the machine shaft is also three-layered and contains two sections of the magnetic conductor, in the form of annular packages of electrical steel separated by a circular layer of non-ferromagnetic material. Non-ferromagnetic material layer is a rotor of the gap sensors between the stator and the electromagnet rotor. Stators of the gap sensors are installed in the support casing in the section of the non-ferromagnetic material of the stator of the electromagnet so that to control the gaps along the axes of stabilization of the radial electromagnetic support of the active magnetic bearing.

EFFECT: invention allows creating a simple compact structure of radial support of active magnetic bearing with reduced requirements to accuracy of its elements manufacturing and their mutual arrangement, as well as reduce the effect of dynamic loads in the operating rpm range, by combining the electromagnet structures and the rotor position sensors with the radial electromagnet structure.
