FIELD: gyroscopic equipment. SUBSTANCE: the system represents a double-axle leveled indicating-power platform with a two-mode directional gyro unit, gyro horizon unit and two horizon sensitive elements installed on it. Besides, the system has two threshold devices with a low reference voltage and two OR gates. The output of each horizon sensitive element is connected to the inputs of the parallel-connected threshold devices with low and high reference voltages. The outputs of the threshold devices with a low reference voltage are connected to the inputs of one OR gate, which forms an enabling or inhibition signal of the mode of gyrocompassing depending on the error of platform leveling. The outputs of the threshold devices with a high reference voltage are connected to the inputs of the other OR gate, which forms a signal for switching-off the system in case of a failure of the leveling system. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the system providing for precision characteristics of the directional channel and prevented mechanical breaks of the precision gyro units. 1 dwg
