SUBSTANCE: the capillary viscometer has a working cylinder installed horizontally, adapter, floating capillary tube, strain gauges, a screw conveyer is installed in the working cylinder. Longitudinal threads are provided on the inner surface of the working cylinder. The floating capillary tube is made composite at least of two parts fastened by means of elasting plates with the working cylinder and with each other. The strain gauges for measurement of the axial force are positioned on the elastic plates, and the adapter inlet end is made in the form of a cone, the capillary tube and the plates with the strain gauges are closed with a jacket. EFFECT: enhanced precision of measurement of viscosity of animal feeds in the process of extrusion. 3 dwg
