SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to helicopter-borne radars with synthesized aperture intended for detection and determination of coordinates of objects located under ground surface, snow or ice cover, for establishment of coordinates of leakage in underground pipe-line of oil transfer, heat and water supply systems. Helicopter-borne radar includes synchronizer, transmitters, antenna switches, antennas, angular field of view switch, receivers, gate pulse generator, processing units, indicator, HF generators, phase manipulators, generators of modulating code, units of adjustable delay, correlators, instruments, extreme regulators, indicators of pipe-line lying depth, phasemeters, recording units, multipliers, low-pass filters, narrow-band filters, flip-flops and keys.
