PROCEDURE ESTABLISHING LEAKAGE POINT IN PRESSURE PIPE-LINE AND FACILITY FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: instrumentation, determination of leakage coordinates in underground pipe-lines of heat and water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: facility includes transmitter, receiver, phase detector, output voltage meter, unit of controlled delay, correlator, instrument, extreme regulator and indicator 30 of depth of pipe-line lying. Transmitter of facility incorporates high-frequency generator, phase manipulator, modulating code generator and power amplified which output is connected to transmitting antenna 3. Receiver incorporates high-frequency amplifier with receiving antenna, multipliers, narrow-band filter, low-pass filter, key and flip-flop. EFFECT: raised accuracy and depth resolution of facility due to exclusion of reflections from surface " air-ground ", elimination of ambiguity of phase measurements and use of complex signal with phase manipulation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
