FIELD: ballistic laser gravimeters measuring absolute values of free fall acceleration. SUBSTANCE: working section of trajectory is divided into assemblage of equally growing time intervals with common start of counting of interference signal of path on ascending branch of trajectory and with common end on descending branch of trajectory during symmetric method of measurement of absolute value of free fall acceleration by ballistic gravimeter with laser movement interferometer by measurement of path on two fixed time intervals on ascending and descending branches of trajectory of test mass with corner optical reflector tossed up. Final measurement result is established as weighted mean value of free fall acceleration for all intervals during each throw of test mass with due account of weight coefficients.
