FIELD: unambiguous authentication of different objects, including excise food stuff, audio- and videoproduction, and works of art. SUBSTANCE: method includes generation of digitized information about object under protection, marking of this information by electronic digital signature of marker, generation of digitized means for authentication of mentioned electronic digital signature of marker, their conversion from digital form into bar-code, bar-code marking on object proper or on any material medium attached to object or enclosed with the latter; object is authenticated by way of reading out the bar-code, its conversion into digital form, separation of information about object under protection, electronic digital signature of marker, and means for authenticating electronic digital signature of marker, from digital form, and then electronic digital signature of marker is authenticated.
