FIELD: radar engineering. SUBSTANCE: device designed for reducing scattering cross- section of flying vehicle passage cavity in air intake or nozzle due to enhancing diffuse scattering for comprehensive range of radio- wave lengths and incidence angles is made in the form of metal screen mounted in front of engine turbine blades and provided with regular holes. Screen forms double wall together with passage cavity surface and is held in position with aid of spacers. Screen accommodates coaxially mounted single-wound conical wire helix that enables reduction of median scattering cross-section (according to probability level of 0.5) in sector of location angles of 0±30° deg. relative to normal to channel space aperture from 2.6 to 8.3 dB at wavelengths ranging between millimeters and decimeters.
