FIELD: radar location and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar equipment and can be used to measure the various radar ranging objects radar cross-section, comparable to and smaller than the wavelength. Radar ranging objects radar cross-section measuring device comprises connected to the recorder transmitting and receiving unit, supporting swiveling block, on which the flat two-dimensional array is arranged, composed of the measured radar objects located with the pitch of d≥λ (λ is the electromagnetic wave length) at the hexagonal grid nodes, coinciding with the Peano-Gosper curve break points, in the range of infinite number of steps filling the regions, continuously covering the planar two-dimensional array within the regular polygon boundaries. Device operation principle is based on measuring of the signals diffraction peaks radar cross-section values, reflected from the composed of these objects array.
EFFECT: disclosed layout allows to increase the radar ranging objects radar cross-section ultra-small values measurements accuracy.
