FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: device has heated needles set in operation when substance penetrates through textile material. The substance has at least one thermoplastic ingredient. The thermoplastic material adjacent to the heated needles, melts and the needles are removed. The heated material is forced through at least one gap between rollers so that the thermoplastic ingredient becomes smooth to obtain essentially smooth surface in immediate vicinity to openings and then the thermoplastic material is left to harden. Cover sheet with openings for receiving absorbing articles produced according to described method and absorbing articles provided with covering sheet produced according to described method have upper sheet permeable for liquid and are comfortable and soft in contacting skin with highly dry surface.
