SUBSTANCE: proposed section of hydraulic classifier has housing with starting hydraulic mixture and flushing water inlet branch pipes, clarified pulp and thickened product discharge branch pipes, upper and lower classifying chambers located one above other with plate stack located orthogonally; plates are inclined and parallel and are movably mounted in upper chamber for performing anti-phase oscillating motion under action of vibration drive; surfaces of plates are coated with elastic material on both sides; outer surface of elastic material has wafer-shaped projections or grooves or horizontal projections and grooves.
