FIELD: equipment for hydraulic classifying of granular materials at concentrating mineral raw materials, possibly in mining, chemical, building industry branches. SUBSTANCE: classifier includes vertical cylindrical housing. Cylinder-cone chamber with impeller is arranged inside housing. Hydraulic mixture is fed through branch pipe coaxial to housing. Impeller is driven to rotation by means of water supplied through tangential branch pipe. Mean portion of housing is made of non-magnetic material, outside said portion electromagnetic winding is arranged; said winding is in the form of stator of induction motor. Inner surface of mean portion of housing has grooves in the form of multistart descending helix under which there is annular apertural tube with branch pipe for washing out water.
