FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed grinding unit is used for grinding cams with concave sides. Drive of unit includes drive engine with drive wheel and grinding spindle. Drive wheel and grinding spindle are provided with equidistant circular grooves on whose radial surfaces circular permanent magnets are located.
