FIELD: production of nonwoven materials. SUBSTANCE: nonwoven material is composed of two nonwoven outer layers and inner carcass layer, with all layers comprising similar filaments. Layers are joined by needle stitching (with 120-500 needle stitches per 1 sq.cm). Continuous viscose threads used as carcass layer have linear density of 600-800 fN/tex and are laid in parallel with one another along nonwoven outer layers of viscose stapled filaments having stapling length of at least 18 mm. Ratio of outer layers and inner carcass layer is (15.5-47.0):(1-4): (15.5-47.0). Surface density of nonwoven material is 280-852 g/sq.m. Material of such structure may be used for manufacture of nonwoven materials, including carbon materials, such as carbonized, activated and graphitized materials for producing heat-insulating, electrically conductive and filtering devices.
