FIELD: construction industry, building and reconstruction of line structures on soft ground, including permafrost of third and fourth categories of thermal subsidence, on lots without drainage and on marshlands of second and third types. SUBSTANCE: earth structure on soft foundation includes body of embankment made of alternating layers of fill-up earth and widths of flexible synthetic unwoven material laid longitudinally over entire length of lot with soft foundation and laid sideways over width of roadbed. Novelty of approach lies in fitting of body with tie-rods carrying rollers in upper parts and anchored on two sides of soft foundation to strong ground. Widths of flexible synthetic unwoven material come in the form of closed belts and are laid on design reference mark of embankment bed. Closed belt is pulled between upper parts of tie-rods anchored on two sides of soft foundation to strong ground and internal space of belts is filled with draining material. EFFECT: development of earth structure which stability is secured by avoidance of subsidence of soft foundation under action of concentrated loads during operation period due to their redistribution in body of earth structure in longitudinal and lateral directions and load transfer from lot with soft foundation to strong ground. 2 cl, 1 dwg
