CONCRETE BUILDING BLOCK Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: industry of building materials used in public and industrial objects. SUBSTANCE: concrete building block includes front layer, concrete building layers and heat insulation layer located between them. These layers are chosen with the aid of relation A:B:C:D=0.7:2.3:3.3:5.7 where A is frontal layer, B is building binding layer, C is heat insulation layer, D is building bearing layer. Mentioned building layers are joined with the help of lintels piercing heat insulation layer and produced in the form of metal and plastic bars placed at angle with horizontal and vertical planes. Frontal layer is made of mixture of cement, expanded clay aggregate, sand and water taken in following ratio 2.4:2.2:5.4:1.0 with addition to mixture of 10% of plasticizing and coloring agents. Bevel is made round edges of frontal layer. Building layers can be produced from foam concrete or expanded-clay lightweight foam concrete which contains mixture of cement, expanded clay aggregate, sand and water in following proportion 3.1:3.4:1.9:0.15 with addition of foaming agent. Heat insulation layer can be made of expanded polystyrene. Lintels can have various profile in cross-section and frontal layer can have various face finish and color.
