FIELD: mining industry applicable in opening and mining of Elghinsky coal deposit in Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). SUBSTANCE: method includes driving of opening workings for opencast and underground mining, mineral mining by opencast and underground operations, deposit division into upper seams and lower seams H14, H12, H2. Driven for opening of opencast and mine fields in seam H14 are twin tunnels which are subsequently used for underground mining operations. Driven from tunnels for opencast operations are additional twin inclined workings up to uppermost seam in each rising structure. Mouths of inclined workings are provided with installed loading and crushing complexes for crushing and loading of overburden rocks and coal. One branch of inclined workings and tunnels is used for coal haulage from loading point to coal preparation plant, and the other branch is used for haulage of overburden rocks. Overburden rocks of seams H16 and H15 are located into internal dump, and overburden rocks of remaining seams are directed to external dump. EFFECT: provided use of opening workings, both, for opencast and underground mining, fully protects from atmospheric effect in haulage of coal and overburden rocks. 4 dwg
