FIELD: ore mining industry; applicable in mining of ore deposits with thickness above 5m and steeply dipping and with thickness of above 10-20m and slightly dipping. SUBSTANCE: method includes driving on draw levels of drifts, crosscuts and air raises, making of drilling rooms on sublevels, and breakage of ore panels by holes with formation of recoverable pillar above workings of draw level, extraction of recoverable pillar by sections with lagging behind breakage of ore panels, layer by layer with clamping and end drawing of broken ore under caved rocks. Additionally driven between crosscuts are loading access roads, and breakage of ore panels on sublevels is carried out along the strike of ore body. Breakage of recoverable pillar by sections is effected from crosscuts across the strike of ore body. Broken ore is drawn by area-end system simultaneously through said crosscuts and access roads which are used for ventilation of breakage faces.
