FIELD: electrical engineering; no-break power supplies for important users. SUBSTANCE: system designed for feeding important loads such as numeric-control machine-tools, microprocessor units, and miscellaneous process equipment demanding uninterrupted power supply has load, two independent power supplies operating at similar current frequency and phase sequence, two similar induction machines, and two similar capacitor banks; rotors of induction machines are intercoupled by common shaft; stator windings of these machines, capacitor banks, and load halves are connected to respective power supplies. One input lead of each voltage monitoring device is connected to phase lead of respective power supply. Contacts of mentioned devices of each power supply interconnected in series and connected in series with switching-device coil of respective power supply are inserted between any of phase leads and neutral wire of respective power supply. Contacts of respective switching device are inserted in each phase lead of power supply. Under normal conditions induction machine functions as motor running at no load to set common shaft in rotary motion. Reactive power of supply mains is corrected by means of capacitors to raise its power factor. Load, motor, and capacitors are supplied with power from respective power line. Upon occurrence of accident on any line voltage across input of faulty line drops and its contactor turns off. Induction machine of serviceable line keeps rotating common shaft. Machine fed from faulty line being excited by capacitor bank starts running as generator and feeds load of disconnected line. Second-line load is still supplied with power from this line.
