APPARATUS FOR ACCOUNTING OF MILK IN THE PROCESS OF INDIVIDUAL MILKING OF COW UDDER QUADRANTS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in animal farms for selecting of dairy cows to adapt to machine milking.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has measurer with casing, partitions installed on casing bottom to height below cover for defining closed cavities. Four inlet branch pipes with centering brackets are mounted in bottom of one partition, with supporting surfaces of brackets lying in single plane perpendicular to axis of related inlet branch pipe. Drain branch pipe is arranged at casing wall. Four measuring cups are positioned in bottom of other cavities spaced from said wall. Ends of curved pipes adjoin side surfaces of inlet branch pipes between centering brackets. Surfaces of said ends are lying in plane of supporting surfaces of centering brackets and are furnished with gauged slits defined by means of thin walls. Axis of each gauged slit is directed to axis of related inlet branch pipe. Other ends of curved pipes are terminated above related measuring cups. Plate-shaped flow distributors with axial cones are mounted on supporting surfaces of centering brackets so that their bottoms are directed upward. Cones are oriented inward of related inlet branch pipe. Flow distributors are biased to centering brackets through measurer cover via springy members. Correcting device of said apparatus is made in the form of plate with four pipes extending through it. One end of each pipe is made curved. Faucets are positioned at straight ends and return valves are mounted at curved portions of pipes. Drain openings are provided between teat cups and faucets. Measurer casing cover is furnished with two hooks and pole between said hooks. Pole has vertical row of horizontal openings. Gate is inserted into one of horizontal openings.

EFFECT: increased measurement precision, enhanced reliability in operation, and improved working conditions for milking personnel.
