FIELD: medicine, phytotherapy, endocrinology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of medicinal agents of natural origin for treatment of patients with thyroid diseases. Invention proposes agent comprising mushroom an aqueous extract grown on surface of wetted medium, maize seeds, planted oat, fish khya-ma, to-kal, ovate distaff thistle roots, khya-gu roots, gentian roots and sea kale. Invention proposes also method for preparing agent that involves milling mushroom mycelium followed by addition of milled sea kale and mixture is subjected for extraction with distilled water. Prepared mixture is brought about to boiling, kept at the room temperature and ready extract is separated from precipitate at temperature 6 C. Agent prepared by this method regulates hypo- and hyperfunction of thyroid and can be used as prophylactic agent for prevention of thyroid diseases and tonsillitis.
